Update

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that I found some dress pants! The bad news is that I got another journal 🙈

So the wedding is Saturday and I won’t have much time Thursday or Friday to look for the pants, so today was now or never. My mom told me to check at Kohl’s and mentioned they had nice clothes there. Um so I went, and she wasn’t wrong about how nice the clothes were. She kinda forgot to mention just how expensive these nice clothes were!!!! The gasps I gusped when I saw the prices and they were increasing as I walked though the area!!!! No ma’am!! I couldn’t get out of there fast enough!!!

Ross was close by Kohl’s so I decided to check there. I could not believe the prices there! It was like I stepped into heaven!!! Clothes that would normally cost an arm and a leg were cut in half!!! I was able to find a few pairs of pants, but only one was the perfect one. Before that though, I decided to check the art supplies just to browse. Oh boy, did I do more than just browse.

They didn’t have that many great options for notebooks. There was this cute floral one and while the size of it was ok, it didn’t really speak to me. I found this sketchbook that did speak to me, but the front and back covers were scratched up. Not a lot, but still noticeable that it would bug me. I didn’t end up getting, but now I kinda wish I did. It was similar in size to the notebook, but this one had inspirational words to draw and I loved it. Ugh, now I wish I gotten it. The one I ended up getting was a bit smaller than the other two, but it had more pages and I love a journal with a lot of pages. The cover had the quote, “Not all who wander are lost.” It sounded very familiar, but at that moment, I couldn’t remember where I knew it from. I had to look it up cause it was bugging me that it was familiar. It’s from The Lord of the Rings! The Fellowship of the the Ring to be exact. When I found the journal, that quote really resonated with me cause I always feel lost with not knowing what to do with the many journals I have, but I do put in so much thought into what I want to put in them.

So yeah, my outfit is complete. I couldn’t find navy blue pants in my size, but hopefully black is still ok with that shade of pink. I’m gonna be super drained by the end of the wedding. I’m not a huge fan of parties, but my other bestie and her mom insist that I be there so I can’t disappoint them (even though the wedding is her [my bestie’s] sister’s 😆but I promised I’d be there). I think this is the first wedding I’ve ever been to. I feel like I did attend some weddings when I was little, but I can’t remember. I think my bestie and her mom will be relieved once the wedding is over. They were pretty stressed planning it, so hopefully they have a good time.
